The seed that was planted by Mr. Foard was carefully cultivated by Phillip Wilson and Terry Lancaster. The growth of the Firm is a direct result of their hard work and dedication to excellence. With their 30 plus years of tax and audit experience, they have created an environment of trust with clients and other professional practices in the area. They are committed to investing in staff development to ensure their clients receive a quality level of guidance and support. Phillip G. Wilson

Phil started with the Firm in May 1986 as a staff accountant after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He became a partner of the Firm in 1990, and he and Terry have successfully grown the Firm into what it is today.

During his time with the Firm, he has been primarily involved in auditing not-for-profit organizations, with an emphasis on churches and religious organizations, as well as tax planning for individuals and small businesses. He has worked with hundreds of churches and not-for-profit organizations ranging in size from very small to $100 million+ in assets. He has also worked with individuals and small companies in a large variety of industries.

Phil has served as an advisor to the NC Center for Nonprofits. He has also served the community as a church finance committee member and a volunteer for Davidson Youth Baseball.

Phil is a loving father and mentor of three successful young men. In 2018, he welcomed his first grandson into the world, and he is enjoying his new role. In his spare time, he enjoys his weekend home in the mountains of Virginia with his beautiful wife and playful dog, Reggie.

Terry W. Lancaster

Terry W. Lancaster graduated from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in December, 1985 and began working in public accounting in January, 1986. He joined the Firm in 1987 and was admitted as an owner in 1991.

During his time with the Firm, Terry has been primarily involved in auditing not-for-profit organizations, with an emphasis on churches and religious organizations, as well as tax planning for individuals and small businesses. He has worked with hundreds of churches and not-for-profit organizations ranging in size from very small to $100 million+ in assets. He has also worked with individuals and small companies in a large variety of industries.

Terry has served on the Tax Committee of the NCACPA and has been utilized as an advisor for the NCACPA Not-for-Profit Committee as well as the NC Center for Nonprofits. In addition, he has served as Treasurer for churches, a private school, a Habitat affiliate, and other not-for-profit organizations.

Terry is a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In his spare time, he enjoys visiting with his family, traveling the globe, fishing, and relaxing at his mountain home.
